Event Overview
Blockchain technology has imbued digital economies with unique characteristics needed to share value in a trustless manner. However, the security of these new economies, their transactions, and incentives for participation must continually evolve to allow for further adoption and to garner trust in the underlying technology.
To assist in this exploration, Blockchain at Berkeley is hosting the Crypto-Economics Security Conference (CESC), a conference that will bring together researchers and practitioners in the blockchain industry to discuss and showcase novel research in this exciting field.
This conference will explore the economic security aspects of blockchain protocols, including game theory, incentive design, mechanism design and market design along with other topics related to crypto-economics security, and to foster collaborations among researchers and practitioners working on these topics.
